Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Jarvis.

Last updated: May 12, 2026Effective immediately

Plain-Language, Source-First Terms

Jarvis is a downloadable, source-access product. These terms set the rules for buying, accessing, and using the source, installers, dashboard, and support — written to be readable, predictable, and fair.

1.Agreement

By creating an account, buying a plan, downloading the source, or using dashboard resources, you agree to these Terms of Service.

  • If you are using Jarvis for a company or client, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms on their behalf.
  • You are responsible for reviewing the documentation, system requirements, provider costs, and refund policy before purchase.
  • If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not purchase or use Jarvis.

2.Purchase & Access

Jarvis Source Access is sold as a one-time lifetime purchase. After payment is completed:

  • Your account unlocks the source package, eligible installers, tutorials, release notes, and dashboard resources included with your plan.
  • Lifetime access means continued access to the purchased materials for the life of the product, subject to these terms.
  • It does not mean lifetime custom support, unlimited consulting, or access to unrelated future products.
  • Plan inclusions are described at the time of purchase and govern what your account can access.

3.Account & Eligibility

An account is required to access source downloads, dashboard resources, and support.

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify support immediately of any unauthorized use or security incident affecting your account.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these Terms.

4.Source License

Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to download, run, study, and modify the Jarvis source.

What You May Do

  • Use the source for your own projects, internal tools, experiments, and local deployments.
  • Customize the code for your own use or your own organization.
  • Build personal automations, workflows, and assistants on top of the source.

What You May Not Do

  • Resell, sublicense, leak, publish, share, or redistribute the source package.
  • Package Jarvis as a competing source-access or commercial product.
  • Remove license, attribution, or access-control notices where present.
  • Bypass payment, license verification, or download protections.

5.Pricing & Payment

Pricing is shown on the public website at the time of purchase and depends on the plan you select.

  • Source Access plans are billed as one-time payments — there are no recurring charges or subscriptions.
  • All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, which are added at checkout where required.
  • Failed or reversed payments may result in temporary suspension of dashboard access until resolved.
  • We may revise pricing for new purchases at any time; existing customers retain the access they have already paid for.

6.Updates & Maintenance

We aim to keep Jarvis maintainable and useful over time.

  • Bug fixes, compatibility patches, documentation improvements, and minor updates are included for eligible plans.
  • Larger feature upgrades may be included or sold separately depending on your plan description at the time of purchase.
  • We may change the product roadmap, rename features, replace providers, or remove unsafe or unsustainable functionality when needed.
  • Because Jarvis is source-based and local-first, you should keep your own copies of downloaded releases and any modifications you make.

7.Your Responsibilities

Jarvis runs with services, API keys, models, libraries, and deployment choices that you control.

  • Keep your API keys, accounts, machines, and local files secure.
  • Follow the terms of any AI, search, hosting, or payment providers you connect.
  • Test generated outputs before relying on them in production or client work.
  • Make backups before modifying source code or local memory files.
  • Use the product lawfully and do not use it to harm, spam, exploit, or deceive others.

8.Acceptable Use

You agree to use Jarvis for lawful purposes that respect others. You will not:

  • Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right while using the product.
  • Use Jarvis to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or otherwise harmful.
  • Attempt to bypass license verification, rate limits, or access controls.
  • Reverse engineer the dashboard or related services beyond what your license permits.
  • Build or distribute malware, run denial-of-service attacks, or otherwise impair our infrastructure.

9.Intellectual Property

Each party keeps ownership of what they bring, with carefully scoped licenses for everything in between.

  • Jarvis owns all rights to the platform, source code, brand assets, documentation, and dashboard.
  • You retain ownership of customizations, integrations, and content you create on top of the source.
  • You grant us a limited license to use feedback you voluntarily provide to improve the product.
  • Generated outputs from your local Jarvis instance belong to you, subject to the terms of any AI providers you connect.

10.Support

Support is provided through the channels described in your dashboard or purchase materials.

  • We aim to help with access issues, installation problems, documented workflows, and reasonable product questions.
  • Support does not include guaranteed custom development, debugging heavily modified forks, or infrastructure management.
  • Integrations outside the documented product require a separate engagement.
  • Response times are best-effort and depend on plan tier and ticket complexity.

11.Service Availability

We try to keep the website, dashboard, downloads, and documentation available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, hosting incidents, provider changes, security events, or business constraints may affect availability. Because Jarvis is local-first, you should keep your own copies of downloaded releases and modifications.

12.Warranties & Disclaimers

Jarvis is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies; you are responsible for reviewing them before acting on them.

13.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the product.

  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant Jarvis plan, or USD 100, whichever is greater.
  • These limits apply to all theories of liability, including contract, tort, and statute.
  • Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; in those regions, our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.

14.Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Jarvis and its parent company DevsDoCode from claims arising out of your misuse of the product, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

15.International Use

Jarvis is designed to work globally, but it is your responsibility to ensure use complies with the laws of your country, including export-control and sanctions regulations. The product is not intended for use in jurisdictions where it would be unlawful.

16.Suspension & Termination

Either party may end the relationship under defined conditions.

  • We may suspend dashboard access if you violate these terms, attempt to bypass payment or access controls, redistribute paid materials, or use the product unlawfully.
  • If access is terminated for cause, you must stop using non-public materials and delete copies where required by us or by law.
  • You may stop using Jarvis at any time; the lifetime license remains tied to the original account.
  • Sections relating to ownership, liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution survive termination.

17.Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or business needs. Material changes will be reflected by the updated date on this page and announced to active customers. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.

18.Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will first be addressed informally; if unresolved within 30 days, they will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, India, except where local consumer protection laws require otherwise.
